For sale this D-10 SHO-BUD steel guitar. (Four Knees, Eight Pedals) Standard Emmons E9th tuning on one neck and C6th on the other. It is a beautiful gold color and sounds like a Sho-Bud is suppose to. Unit is fairly heavy (approx 70 lbs in the case) My health condition is not to good, especially back and legs so with that and being 75 I have decided to sell. I have purchased a much liter SD-10 so there is really no just reason for hanging on. I know of nothing wrong with it, plays good, stays in tune and is in good shape cosmetically. The serial # is 15475. I do not know if this number relates to the age, I have been told its an 80s model. Includes a case, shipping is $60.00, lower 48 only. I will ship overseas but the buyer must pay additional shipping. Asking $2500

Boy the key head looks different from the show buds I have seen. did they make a mould change in the 80's? Sure is a good looking guitar. There must be 1000's of Sho Buds out there according to the serial numbers.

I was told by someone who has followed these units that the mold on this end was changed to "square" in the 8os

This is a very nice Pro-ll Custom . I bought mine new in 1977 and it has the same type of keyheads . This guitar is priced to sell in my opinion . I wouldn't take $3000.00 for mine ! I have two Sho~Buds and one Emmons . I wish i had some extra ''mad money '' ,this baby would be in my collection ! No better playing guitars than the ''buds '' . P.S. If you don't find a buyer for it just send it up my way and i will store it for you and keep it with my other Buds Laughing . Us Sho~Bud guys have to stick together you know ! Winking

Gary, thanks for the plug on my guitar, its a good looking quaility instrument, In my Air Force days I was at Lockbourne Air Base from 1960 to 64 in Columbus. If you were there during that time maybe we could compare notes sometime.(maybe not to many notes) Again thanks for the good words, hang on to those SHO-BUDs

Hey Ray ...This is for Gary Preston also. I know he is Bud Buff #1...They don`t make them like they did back then. This is a Pro-111, but a lot like yours.. Good luck on selling it, but you`ll regret it late
