I am looking for a new or used hard shell case for my Panda. I have to protect my baby. No chipboard cases please.

Aloha Gary,

Check out the Bushman case for baritone ukulele at Elderly Instruments. http://www.elderly.com/
They do require the removal of the interior accessory compartment, but are a great fit for the Rickenbacker bakelite guitars. They come in black or, for additiional cost, a nice tweed version. I've just recently remodeled three of them.

Thanks Ron. Is there still any compartment inside after you remove the one you talk about?

There won't be any compartment after the remodling is done. Two of the old compartment pieces are take out by removing two wood screws each. The third and most difficult requires peeling back the fabric, and carefully cutting the wood to either remove it or convert it to a neck rest. The discarded compartment pieces can be stripped of fabric to be reused as needed.
