Just wanted to let everyone know that I received my arm rest today, from Don Blood, and to say that his product is really a work of art. It fits my guitar perfectly and adds both to the looks of the guitar and also to the comfort while playing. I would highly recommend it to anyone owning an S-10. Also, Don is an outstanding person to do business with.

Do those armrests mount permanently to the guitar or is it possible to remove them (easily and quickly) before packing the guitar into the case? If they do come off, do you have to do anything special to the case or the guitar to get it into the case? I checked Don's website but I didn't see any mention about that. Unless maybe I missed it.

Chuck,

If you loosen the socket head bolt on each of the 2 mounting clamps, approximately 7 turns, the split clamps can be separated and by lowering one end of the rest, and pulling away from the steel, the armrest is easily removed. It is very easy to reinstall it in the reverse order.

You'll be very pleased! It's quick, easy, and adds a lot to any single steel guitar.
