Message from new member.
Hello from Snellville, Ga. I have been monoriting this website for a while and just joined.
I played standard guitar and Bass for years. I got my first guitar in 1956 due to the Elvis explosion.About a year ago I switched to the non pedal steel. I bought a new Remington Steelmaster S8 from Herb.I also got his and Rick Alexander's teaching materials and learned most of that pretty quick.I really like the A6 tuning but I also like the Don Helms E13 tuning for old country and Hank Williams songs.
My favorite players are Herb Remington, Rick Alexander, Don Helms, and Jerry Byrd.
I don't play for a living but do sometimes play at Retirement homes, churches and prisons.
I am glad to be a part of this great group and look forward to herain from all of you.
My special greeting goes out to Brett Day, who I met a few months ago at the local GSGA meeting in Atlanta. |

Welcome Morgan. The Forum is a good place to hang out. So you live in the town where everybody is somebody. We lived just outside the Snellville village limits in Lilburn for 15 years. Forum member Mark Van Allen is from Loganville. The best of luck to you. John _________________ Equipment: Carter D10, Zum Stage1,
