Well Guys I was waiting to get some more pictures but I got my G-2 Last Week. No Doubt what Bobby said about the Tone and Craftmanship is dead on. My tone above the 12th fret is as good as below the 12th fret which as we all know tends to get thinner above the 12th with a lot of other guitars. Note the Custom Inlayed red mother of pearl Lightning bolt and trim. This is absolutly my dream come true guitar! Del Mike Dixie and Crew really got it right this time!

By the Way I wanted to add a plug for the wonderful White Tolex job Rick Johnson did for my Steel King Last Year in 1st picture. Its actually white as my G-2 but the lights yellowed it a bit! Getting the matching White Guitar was the crowning touch for me. For those who may remember I always liked the way all the white equipment looked on the Old Donna Mandrel TV Show from years ago.

Hi JR,

Long time no see.

I don't know if you remember me or not but we met at the Grizzly Rose a few years ago when I was there with West Of Nowhere.

That's a great looking guitar you got yourself. I played Mickey Adams new 12 string and it sounded great so I bet you're lovin yours.

Have fun!

JR your new g2 looks great. Would you share your opinion of the FSK and how it works for you. Thanks Fred

Fred,
Alow me to say without putting down a lot of other manuafactuers. The Fender Steel King is without a doubt the best sounding combo amp Ive ever used. I used a session 400 for years . Ive had 2 of them as well as the old 500's . I also had a stereo Tube works 500 set up with 2 black widow speaker cabinets which also sounded great but weighed 150 lbs and was a bear to carry. Pound for pound Id take the Steel king over all of them. Thats why I have 2 of them. I just wouldn't want to go without if one went down. They have more low end and the Midrange sounds great wherever I set it. Ive found these Amps sound good wherever I set them and with the others especially the peavy 1000 I could never get them dialed in right. I was always fooling around with the controls trying to find my sweet spot for tone. Coulped with my Pod XT effects unit by line 6 I have every thing at my finger tips during performances.

JR,

I quit WON in March of 2006 after working with them a little over two years.

They ultimately became an opening act for Toby Keith and when that came to an end so did they.

I also had some great times in Denver and Wyoming with them.
