Here is CHUCK MILLER singing "HOUSE OF BLUE LIGHTS" in 1955. There were many other versions of this song, dating back to at least 1945, but CHUCK MILLER's version is the one I like best. It's that Boogie Woogie sound. Very Happy

Ella Mae's version always wins my heart:)

The gal is just under rated, she had T Bone Walker, Jimmy Bryant, Speedy West and others as sidemen too. She was cross over before no one knew what that was!
Nothing to take away from Chuck, he was cool, did a red hot version of Auctioneer too! Cool

Yeah Roger, that's a good'un too. She did a great album for Capitol called "Barrelhouse Boogie And Blues", just r&b hits of the day.
And back to Chuck, I haven't seen many pics of him, I did have an LP released in the late 80's which had a photo on the cover, and here's a more recent release:
