This C6th DVD instructional course was put together to teach and simplify the C6th tunings.

I took the Jerry Byrd classic steel song "Steelin' the Blues," and teach you slowly how to play it a piece at a time on pedal steel in the manner of Curly Chalker's style on his "More Way To Plays LP". Then it is played up to tempo.

Next, I play it hrough slowly on my 1937 lap Silver Rickenbacher steeland teach you Jerry Byrd's style of playing it on a non pedal steel.

This steel instructional DVD is unlike anything else I have ever seen. It has alot of stuff that will benefit you the steel player. It's all there and more.

Recommend for beginners through advanced steel players. Taught slowly so anyone can get it.

Cost only $18 and that covers the postage inside USA.

I may have forgot to mention that this course is for the intermediate to advanced steel player. Yet it could e learned by the beginner or moderate player if they practice.

A comment about the great Curly Chalker, he had some really cool things he did on C6th steel. This is as close to some of his type intros and chordal progressions as you can find in a steel course. It is very close to his version of the song the way he played it on his "More Ways To Play, LP."

Next, I then took my 1937 Silver Rickenbacker lap steel and did it all over again but this time like the Great Jerry Byrd, since he wrote the song. I miss both of these Great Steel Artists.

So you get two styles and alot more for the cost of only $15 and $3 postage.

Order by check or money order from:

Hi Gary,

This does not have tablature with it. You don't need tab with my DVDs. You can see the camera right up on the neck and hear it all. All of my students and I have several students all like my DVDs.

However, I will tab songs out for individuals but I charge quite a bit more for the tab for songs like this. Because it takes alot of time to sit down and tab songs such as this, in the style of Curly Chalker and Jerry Byrd.

You can e-mail me if that if tablature is what you want. But again, the DVD has it all there and it is correct.

Thanks and GOD bless!

This DVD seems to be working well for those who try it.

The things taught on this DVD C6th instruction can be used on other songs not just the song Steelin' The Blues which is covered on both pedal and non pedal steels.

Thanks!

This DVD works well for the moderate player but also good for the beginner who wants to start learning either C6th pedal or C6th non-pedal steel.

The DVD is about 1 hour long and will keep you busy if your really wanting to learn some more C6th material this is a real good DVD. It is all there and easy to understand. See it and hear it all up close.

Cost $15 plus $3 postage in USA. Outside the USA $15 plus the postage to your location.

Thanks and GOD bless!

It sells for only $15 and $3 postage.

It can be order by check or money order from me at:

This DVD instruction course has turned out to be fairly popular with students interested in C6th.

What are some other type things that players might be interested for a pedal C6th DVD instruction course?

I would like to know what your interests might be, as we are getting ready to produce a couple more DVDs.

Thanks!

Steelin' The Blues Curly Chalker verses Jerry Byrd styles.

This is a great C6th course and will teach you how to play those big full chord voicings like Curly Chalker. The way he did it on his "More Ways To pLay," L.P. If your into jazz, Big band sounds this covers a bunch of the Great Curly Chalker unique styling.

Also, it teaches you how to play this classic steel song in the style of the Master Jerry Byrd on non pedal steel using the 6 string C6th.

The things you can learn with this DVD can be interchanged from playing pedal to non-pedal steel guitar.

It proved very challenging for me to complete this course and it was my first DVD instructional course. I am so glad I did it and you can learn alot about playing C6th from it. Cost only $18 and that includes postage inside USA.

I also have a new C6th Nashville and Western Swing DVD course. Cost $23 includes postage.

Order both of my C6th DVD instructional courses for only $41. That is about 2 hours and 15 minutes of lessons and you can watch the DVD over and over until you learn everything. It will help you learn C6th easy.
