The Haggard group left for Nashville Sunday, starting an 11 date tour. And yes Norm is playing steel like he has for 42 years. They just got back from a tour 2 weeks ago. It looks like they will be very busy the rest of the year.

Norm was on the show in Pheonix in January and told me that they were going out for 11 days and if all went well they were going to be on the road again. It went well so they are off and going.
Oh by the way I always kid Norm about being with Merle for 42 year - he is a steel player that can't get a job so he just stays with the Strangers.
