`Steel On The Web`, perhaps? Or is there a bigger audience here?

Nice video David,
just curious...do you play live in your video?... or you record your pedal steel first and then mix it with the video after?, cause to me that's what it looks and sounds like. Confused

Dave,

Great stuff. It's been awhile since I've listened to your postings. It seems you're getting a good feel for the electronic end of things. The mix and tone are noticeably better. You're playing is still impressive as it's always been. Very refreshing.

Hi Pat, It was live with no drop-ins or edits, it was about the 2nd or 3rd take though as camcorder was only running for 8 minutes. It took me about 2 hours to work out how to get the audio from the apple mac to the PC to sync it with the video though. I know this could have all been done on the Mac, but I want to keep the video editing on the PC as I understand Premier Pro and know nothing about iMovie..There's a lot to learn on Logic too. In fact, it sounded even better before I routed it from the Apple through the mixing desk and Mini-Disc player into the PC, It was my first attempt at recording with Logic, I think I will get to like it although I do like moving faders and trim-pots manually rather that on a PC screen, but I had to get 'up-to-date' with my recording gear eventually! Its this stupid 'Latency' (delay) thing I am having trouble with on the Mac at the moment. I may try another one today. Many thanks for your comments.
By the way, Bobbe's tracks are excellent, and I appreciate him letting me use them for broadcasting on the tube.

Excellent job, David, as always. You are a master player. We could do with a little less "attitude," though... just kidding!

Very Happy Whoa! Rolling Eyes Laughing

Dave : excellent playing . on that cool looking " RAINS " guitar . Especially like that harmonic work you were doing in the middle. Quite a feat, indeed; as only you can do..I still find it hard to believe that you can get so much music out of those ten strings. A fabulous sound, my friend..Bernie Very Happy Whoa! Whoa! Rolling Eyes

Dave, Hello from Down Under, this is the first time i hear you play and it sounds awsome man !!!

Like your touch, tone is as good as it can get, pitching perfect, it makes me want to hear more when i listen to it !It sounds like very modern playing. I can hear lots of influence by Lloyd Green, Terry Crisp....Aaaaaa beautiful !
Just how i like hearing steel.
Keep up a great work and please let us know when you're posting more videos on YouTube !
Cheers
Tomi...
