My wife Norma Jean and I will be in Hawaii for 10 days starting on the 2nd of Dec. If anyone knows of any Steel players there, please post on the forum. I used to have friends in Hawaii but they've passed on. Pua Alameida and Billy Hue Lyn. I spent a lot of time with Billy in the 60's. Aloha, Al

Try to find Ken Emerson playing if you can. He's great on the National Tricone and other assorted guitars. His album "Slack and Steel" is a wonderful collection of original and old Hawaiian steel guitar classics.

Hello Albert - 'Just returned from Nashville, and heading for the Miss. Gulf Coast. I met several steel players when there--mostly at the Luau gigs; dont remember their names, but they were all easy to converse with; I didnt realize Billy had passed; he was an original and fine player of Hawaiian music. Good luck, HJ
