I have two of these bars and I'm keeping one. It's not being made anymore, but it's one of the latest that was made using the harder coating. This one has never been used and I still have the box. Not a scratch on it. It is 15/16th x 3.35 and weighs 9.5oz. on my kitchen scale.

It works well on nichol strings, but stainless strings will scratch the surface. Easy to hold and it gives a nice tone. $65.00 Free shipping within the U.S.A. Actual cost to anywhere else.

Hey Jim,
I have two Black Phoenix and one Red Rajah which is
still in its shipping box and seems like they sold
new for $45 each. What is different about yours?
My new Red One has the harder coating on it.

Jim, I'm sure you are just curious, but I think you are also trying to make a point. If yours are for sale for $45.00, then let me know.

Jim, Please don't misunderstand what I meant. I was
just curious if they have improved the finish.
I'm terribly sorry that I came across otherwise.
My deep appology. Jim is a great guy to do business
with. I have done so in the past and never had a
problem.
I will now stay off your post Jimbo. Best regards,
Jim

Bill, I don't think you can buy red or blacks anymore. The one that I have is the second version of the red that Chuck made after the Black Phoenix. It's a harder compound and it's double coated. In fact the core of this bar was a Black Phoenix. Chuck remade it to the second generation Red Rajah.
