I just had the honor of playing in Canton Texas at the Western Swing Valentine Party with Jody Nix and The Texas Cowboys...WOW..sure was fun.
It was also fun to get to hear Reese Anderson play live...another WOW!! Great playing AS always from the master! He was there with Dave Alexander and his swing band..great music!

Roual, I'd say that if anyone could handle the job of following Reece, it'd be Junior!......JH in Va.

Junior....I just now saw your kind post for which I thank you......the truth is, you can open or close any show for anyone, for you are without question an astounding player as well as an icon of steel guitar. I look forward to seeing and hearing you again in March at the Dallas show.

Mr. Anderson...I was seriously disappointed when R.F.D.T.V. ceased carrying the "Johnny High Country Show". I thoroughly enjoyed your playing and your tone was superb.

I appreciate the kind words and interest in tht Johnnie High TV show. For those who may be interested, you may go online to the Johnnie High Country Music Review and obtain DVD's of many of our TV shows. You may also call 817-226-4400 and place an order.

Our show has been moved to "American One Network" (cable), and "AMG TV" (cable) They are in many different markets and a search of your local listings for "the johnnie High show" may surprise you by being available.

Our theater is about to undergo a dramatic expansion and renovation, and after completion the later part of this year, the likelyhood of resuming our TV show is very good. Our expansion will conclude at about the same time the new Dallas Cowboy stadium is completed, and it's only about two miles from the theater.
