The correction is on the top of page 4.
For the “D” Rock & Roll Minor 7th scale it says fret 10.
But it should read fret 8.
All the other information remains the same.
If you were playing it on the 10 fret it would be correct, but for “E” Rock & Roll Minor 7th scale.

For those of you looking at it with hands-on instructors, they probably informed you of the typo.
For those of you who may have been confused by this mistake, I apologize.

I’m surprised that out of the almost 1000 of these that have been distributed, no one has communicated to me about this mistake. Perhaps it wasn’t on the earlier versions that were sent out, I actually don’t know how it happened, but as they say, the buck stops here, so it’s my responsibility.

Thanks for your patience.

Marc

Thanks!

I’m very glad so many of you are getting something useful out of all the time I spent putting this chart together.
I’m hoping to be able to post some YouTube videos showing ideas of different ways to practice these scales and some examples of how useful they can be when applied to playing something “musical” with them, particularly with the minor scales, but that’s just in the planning stages at this point.

Unfortunately, just posting on The Forum saying you would like a copy, is not enough for me to get it to you.
Anyone wanting a copy of these scales, please send me an email to Marc4Music@aol.com , include your email address, and I will email you back the scales chart attached in word doc format.
In a relatively short time I’ll have a new website on-line that will also have my new Expanded Minor Scales available for free viewing or downloading, but it’s not quite ready yet.
Once the new website is complete, instead of having to reply to each person with an attachment in the email, I’ll just be able to direct people to the website and then they can view or download whatever free material they wish. They’ll also be able to purchase my new CD or instructional DVD if they care to. I’m confident the new Expanded Minor Scales will be of interest to a lot of steelers. I’ve completed writing them out, but I’m going to wait until distributing them until the website is complete, because whenever I make an official announcement on The Forum offering the free charts I usually get 100s of requests for the material.
