I've just had this photo from a friend in the UK of the endplate of his ZB S-10, I always thought that the middle set of holes drilled in the plate were
the same as the top and bottom set, I've never seen
one like this ,has anybody else ?
Oh, the serial number is #0304.

In any event, beautiful wood on that ZB. And to Billy and Frank "HOLLA"! Hope that both of you are doing great.

Paul & Billy: The hole with the capscrew in it is on the 4th string. The other one, I think, was done by mistake. This is the only way to add a second raise to any string. In this case it is to pull e to f with a knee lever. I did this with my first pedal steel which had a modified Z B changer. Works great. I did mine about 20 years aggo. Andy H. |

Hallo guys !
I spoke to Graham who owns the guitar and he assures
me that it was like it with only two holes on the
half-stop row when he bought it, perhaps it was an
attempt to cut production costs, who knows.
As Duncan said it has a nice wood coloured finish and
he apparently had a bargain as well !
All the best

Are we going to see some photo's of the guitar you've almost finished ? I know Duncan and myself
wait in anticipation of yet another masterpiece by
yourself.
All the best

Eric Snowball used to do that mod for those of us ZB owners who wanted the E to F change on string 4. He would weld an extension to the puller rod for the 4th string that fed through to the middle hole. There is no other way round doing it so that you can adjust the tuning on the end plate.
