Hi!

I´m currently working on my master thesis at university in Norway, and my subject is "How you can adapt to playing steel guitar from being a guitarist".

I need a professional software that can write nice looking tablature, hopefully with an option to include sheet music, but if not so rhytmic notation and text for explanation.

I´m using Sibelius 5 for all other examples, but the pedal steel guitar tab preset included does not understand pedals and knee levellers....

So it has to be a good program!

Anyone who has a clue?

Ok!

I purchased this program, and have imported notation from Sibelius via midi.
It looks a litter cheaper, but that's ok as long as the TAB are working.

I've uploaded the pedal steel instrument.
How do i type in pedal names? I just see this "slide" function, but that will not work - i need to show the fret and pedal name. for instance 7 B, like it does on TABs in books etc.

Can you help me?

Anders,

You can edit and use the "pedals" by going to the note menu and selecting pitch change (ctrl-H).
