Elvis Costello's "Spectacle" on Sundance Channel -

I have been watching "Spectacle with Elvis Costello" on the Sundance Channel. Last night's episode featured Jakob Dylan, Jenny Lewis, and She & Him (Zoey Deschanel and M. Ward). The most interesting thing about it was the lap steel player, playing a Fender Deluxe 8. He was featured often onscreen and did a pretty good job (although my wife thought he sounded terrible on the cover of the Clash's "Straight to Hell"). He also played organ on a couple of tunes.

The credits listed him as "Farmer Dave - pedal steel"! There was no pedal steel. Turns out it's Dave Scher of the band Beachwood Sparks, who played with Elvis Costello on his latest CD "Momofuku".

Did anyone else see that episode?
