I'm selling my 58 D8 Fender Stringmaster. Short Scale, dark sunburst. This is one of the swamp ash ones. Just astonishing tone. Original case. Its been played and shows some wear. It came from Buck Owen's studio in Bakersfield before me. There is a professionally drilled small hole in the tuning pad for string pulls. It should show up in the pictures.
$1300

When you say short scale length, what is the actual measurement? If it's over 24" I'm definitely interested! _________________ Primitive Utility Steel |

Short scale is perfect for me..
How did the hole for the string pulls work? Was it to attach a rod over the string, to pull it there at the tuning pan? |

Jeff,
It looks like a basic hook just pulled on a string to me. _________________ Bob |
