I suspect many of us remember the photo of Frank Baum from Winnie Winston's book but have never had the chance to hear him play. Well, here's a video from 1979. Good, clean pickin'!

Thanks Jim. There's a interview with Frank in the Steel Guitar World mag that I enjoy reading. Interesting stories of Frank's music career.

I just talked to Frank a few weeks ago. He is in his 70s now, but still kickin'. He spends parts of the year in Hawaii (they gave him the name Palani over there) and still tours with German country singers.

His guitar is still an ABM, with reversed necks (like Curly Chalker).
