Tonight was the maiden voyage with my new gig bags. I packed up my '71 Emmons and wenta giggin. All I can say is THEY WORKED WELL! It's a little more awkward when putting the guitar together and tearing down. But a lot lighter & easier to carry to and from the car. Very Happy

Looks good, Nick. My tailgate won't go down, and I haven't got around to fixing it yet. Ain't easy getting a steel guitar in the bed.

Why would you put a $3000.00 instrument in a bag? You are asking for damage. Been there, done that. Good luck.

Kevin, the reason I would use gig bag is that I am in process of selling my Mullen D10 due back problems.Even with a lightweight Scott Dixon case (7kgs)and a seperate pedal rack case, it just kills my back. The gig bag would only be used when transporting it in my own car, otherwise case would be used. When it comes down to use bag and play, or put in case and don't play I think it is worth taking the chance, as I am the one carefully looking after it.
