I have a Marrs cabinet that I've always loved the sound of. For whatever reason, I never opened it up to see what the speaker was. Having finally done so, I now see that it's apparently a Peavey from the looks of it but it has no markings on it anywhere. (??!!)

Any hints on how to figure out what it is?

Mystery solved by simply asking the guy who sold it to me. (Duh!)

It's a 1501 or 1502 (At least that narrows it down...) 4 ohm pulled from a Nashville 400.

Still seems a little weird that I can't find any markings on it anywhere, though.

Chris,
Have you looked near the terminals? They normally have a tag inside just above the terminals.

The 1501 has a smooth cone and the 1502 has a ribbed cone. I have 2 NV400's, one with a 1501 and one with a 1502.
