I've got an old Edwards Light Beam Volume pedal from years back, but I don't remember about it have tone and volume controls othere than up and down on the pedal. Got a good sound.
But the pedal you probably would want that has the controls on it is the Hilton pedals I have them in stock.
Hope this helps.

Hey Todd, are you going to be at the Dallas show again this year? If so we'll all look forward to seeing you again and getting to play some of your fine guitars. |

Hi David,
Yes I will be displaying at the Dallas show. I will have a D-8 and D-10 on display as well as a few lap single 8's, Also 6 and 8 string resonator guitars. Thanks for asking I look forward to seeing you.
As far as the pedal goes. I have had many offers for a straight volume edwards, but I want to hold out for one with the tone swivel top.I may consider one if i can't find the T/V pedal.
I have also had many offers on Hiltons. I need a Tone Volume pedal with the swivel top, working the bass to treble in the doo-wah fashion. If you have a Hilton that will do that I would buy it, but I don't think they exist. I have looked in the Archives seeing a few who have modified Light pedals with a swivel top tone control, if one of thos is available I would be interested .
Thanks |

Hi Bill,
Great news. What would you like for it ? Does it still work fine ? I may have you mail it to me and buy it now, so I can start using it. I have a few gigs this month that I would like to use it on. If not bringing it to Dallas would work too.
Thanks
Todd

I forgot to tell you the serial number is 7124 5 so it may be a way that you can look this up, that's about the time I bought it back in 1971 I think.

Hi Bill,
I would have no way of looking up the serial number since little info can be found on the pedal. The original add I posted is about as much as I can dig up on the net. The forum shows a bit of info in the archives.
Let me know what you want for it with shipping, and we can work it out.
I appreciate you digging up the pedal for me.

Hi Todd:
Hope you're doing great!
I had one of these years ago, just the volume pedal, not v/t, sold it pretty soon after I bought it. Mechanically/structurally, reminds me alot of the old Sho-Bud volume pedals (my fave), but with a much quicker swell and response (not my fave).
ZBest wishes to ya.

Hi Larry,
Doing good here . Looks like I may have a gig with you guys here in May.
I have heard that the quick volume swell is not desirable on these pedals. Also heard they suck a bit of tone.... But hey I play a Bigsby and my guitars so I have tone to spare. All of my pot T/V pedals are down and it would be nice to have a back up T/Vpedal thats always RTG. The pedal has similarities to the Bigsby pedal too.

Hi Todd,
It works great, but as you know the tone is a lot darker than the pedals today, so you will have to adjust your amp with less bass and more treble.
No noise in the pot and it's no telling how old the pot is, as far as the tone from side to side I can't tell that much difference in it, I didn't work with it I just wanted to make sure it even worked.
I'll take 125.00 plus shipping, if you can take care of Bob's donation to the forum, how's that sound.
I've got a Franklin pedal that I could bring to Dallas for you to look at also it swivels, and is a stereo volume pedal.
I bought it but never used it years ago.
Let me know.
