hey guys... my 1000 has been in the shop for months... it keeps blowing fuses... the guy told me today that he thinks it is the power supply...
he said it would cost a bit... im not sure what to do about it... im wondering if i should just buy a new amp... it would be about the same if i found one for sale on the forum...
any advice guys? |

Send it to Peavey (the amp chassis only) and it will be fixed properly, reasonable and it won't take "months". |

My PV 1000 was doing the same thing. It was a diode in the power supply. A couple of dollars for parts and less than an hour labor.
Sending it to Peavey is ceratinly a good solution.
