Free for download - 4 CDs worth of lessons and performances from Jethro Burns privately recorded by one of his mandolin students. An amazing treasure trove from one of the finest pickers of the 20th century. These were offline for a few years now generously available again. Get 'em while you can!

There's no doubt he was a great musicion. Another one who could sell comedy over musical talent. I was lucky enough to work a few shows with them way back. By the way Andy, I see you are from Boston. Is the Palace still there. I think ther was a sign there about it being the longest bar in Boston. I worked there somewhere around a 100 years ago it seems like now. A Pickin' Bro. Doyle |

The only "Palace" I've heard of in this neck of the woods was an early 80s dance club in lovely Saugus, Mass. |
