Active systems...

Do You know of any Active P-U systems for PSG..?..
in the world of electric spanish,many players have
taken to the idea of EMG etc ; there´s still some
erroneous mind-biasing about Active P-U´s being
beneficial for hi-gain only ; in reality,a good
Active P-U can do a...say a Strat,justice by
picking up on what´s the typical Strat-twang,great
harmonics content etc...I never stumbled over an
Active PSG-system,so what´s up with that..?..
