Hey Fellow Steelers!
Here's a product that you might want to try out with your bass guitar or even your steel guitar. I took the prototype of this model to a local gig and connected it to my Nashville 400's internal speaker(bypassing the 400's electronics) to use with my Emmons Lagrande. I was very pleased with the tube reproduction of the VB3. Plus, it weighs 37 lbs.!

It's a killer amp that will be available soon. Check it out here;

Jeez, this thing sounds great! Where did they cut the weight out of, I wonder.... I guess you can add it back with that 8X10 cabinet. Very Happy My SWR SM500 bass amp, with two 250-watt channels, is the best steel amp I've ever owned.

They got rid of the power supply transformer. That's by far the heaviest component in a tube amp. They use a modern switching supply. Very interesting.

Having a universal power supply is a step in the right direction -- for us ROW blokes!! Lets hope the new Steel amp has this feature included also ! Very Happy

I fear that not too many folks will have a chance to even try this unit out with the price tag that's on it ....Good to see Peavey coming out with inovative products though .... Jim

I hope Mike tries out some different speaker combinations with this beast. A steeler could play on any stage with this power. Congratulations to Peavey on another great product.
