John,I used to have half of one of those. They have four rectangle Styrofoam speakers that rotate in opposite directions.A friend of mine in Ca. built two units from one of those that housed two speakers and worked of the power of my Twin reverb,he built them into a small cabinet the hard part was the switching unit which somehow designed,It worked great I left it at Delaney Bramlett's house when I moved up here they are the real deal,I guess Leslie had some kind of law suite so Yamaha had to quit importing them,If you find one...and they're are a lot of them around snag it!Stu _________________ Steeltronics Z-pickup,Desert Rose S-10 4+5,Desert Rose Keyless S-10 3+5... Cool, Stu. I'd love to snatch one up. Maybe clip it to the leg of my steel.
That is a 4 X 12" monster in addition to the swirly stuff. A bunch of transformers....I bet that weighs more than 30 pounds! |

How cool, it was originally sold at Zapf's Music Store in Philly. Where I bought my first Fender and my Dobro, took lessons and hung out. |
