I have a MSA Classic-12 string,5kn.levers,6 pedals I picked up from a fellow that is in poor health and I told him I could get him info on it's approximate worth from the good people on the forum. An ID # stampted on the bottom carriage is #1c1435.It looks decent plays and sounds good and is very solid. There is also a sticker underneath that says "Rebuilt April 2001" and signed-Bud Carter. If anyone can help me with any info please post or pm me. Thanks. Chuck B.

Judging from the photos, I'd guess that this is one of the earlier maple/lacquer guitars, and was made around 1976.

That looks to be a late '73 double r/l Classic. I can't tell a lot about the body from the photos (not enough detail), but it looks to have been refinished or painted recently. The "Bud Carter" sticker is the original assembly label from the factory, but nobody can say anything about the "rebuilt" scribble but the guy that rebuilt it. Value would depend on what it looked like close up, and how good the refinish job is. I'd guess on a good day it might bring somewhere between $1200 and $1600.
