Has anybody any experience with this model? If so what settings do you use? Comments? |

I had a Peavey Express 112. It is a fine amp
for regular guitar or lap steel, but it is not
designed for steel. I put a Nashville 112 speaker
in it hoping to improve, but then I was told the
pre-amp was different.
I was never really satisfied until I got a Nashville
112. Now that is the amp for pedal steel. |

Thanks, This is a Special 160W RMS not an Express how many watts was the Express? This Special sounds pretty good in my studio but haven't gigged it yet. I have a 112 which I use but like my 400's better. But not their weight! Dave |

The express was a small 65 watt similar to the
Bandit.
Until the Nashville 112 came out all the Steel
designed amps had 15 inch speakers. The Nashville
was the first to have a 12 inch designed for steel.
It has more movement in the speaker.
I know the weight is heavy, but the 400 sounds good. |
