The next meeting will be Sunday, Sept. 21, at 3:00 PM in Katy, Tx. at the M.U.D. #81 bldg. We had to move our meeting up one week due to an error in scheduling by MUD #81. Take I-10 to Katy. Take the Mason RD. exit. Go south on Mason RD. to Cimarron Pkwy. Turn right on Cimarron PKWY. About 3 blocks, left on Hidden Valley, and left into parking area. The bldg. in on the corner of Cimarron Pkwy and Hidden valley. The featured player will be Albert Talley. Albert has worked with some of name touring artists and is one of the premier players from Texas. If you would like to play, be there at 2;ooPM to set up. The $5;00 donation box will be there to help defray expenses. Let's have a good turnout for this meeting. Through Jim Saunders, Bobbe Seymore has donated some door prizes for this meeting. They are all something we can use. See you there . Jody , Billy, Patty, and Bob.

We'll be there. Maybe I'll have to polish up on my lyrics to "Big Mamou....." Y'all requested it last time, but I don't Par-lay the old Fran-say.

P.S. - E-mail sent. Gotta get down there to see you, just tell me when and where.

I plan on being there JB...Good Lord willin' and the creek don't rise.

I think I'll bring Darla so she can add some vocals if you want. Plus, I can't wait to show off my push pull that Bobby Bowman just finished working on.

Jody, good to see you guys in St. Louis. As I told you then I will not be able to attend this month's meeting but hope to become active after September. I plan to retire from my day job and then begin to do what I always wanted to do - work on the Steel Guitar and play music. Hope you have a great turn out for this month's meeting.

Jody, I've got a few door prizes for this meeting, donated by Bobbe Seymour, Steel Guitar Nashville. It may not be the Texas Lotto, but your odds of winning will be a whole lot better. See you there.

Thanks everyone. I know it's an effort to come to the meeting after gigging and driving half the night. We really appreciate the effort. I have a gig in Rosehill, Tx., and I will be there . Dr. Grunch, there ain't but one thing I had rather do than pick, and it ain't bird hunting. Jody

Jody S - so i guess it ain't "Pick" yer nose that you'druther be doing?....

Y'all better realize there'll be one more old man at the show this month. One week from Monday I'll be 24 years young. One year from being halfway to AARP benefits. 1/4 through life (I'm going to die at 96, I've already decided.)

I've been invitin' everybody I know! Hope we have a good turnout. We WILL have fun though, I know that. Brother Dennis Lobdell will make the scene. JB, Darla said she would do "Then & Only Then" for you, but you have to do the kickoff and turnaround just like Weldon!
