Looking for E9 tabs of the kind of crawling chromatic licks Buddy Cage does, ala the New Riders' version of "Hello Mary Lou". Anyone have anything along those lines, or other challenging E9 stuff with cool chromatic and/or passing chords?

Thanks

If it is the lick I think your asking about, it is done on the 4th & 2nd strings.
Starting from the 5th fret no pedal A chord, pick the 4th string at the 4th fret, slide up 1 fret to the 5th fret, then pick the 2nd string at the 5th fret, and just keep on going repeating that pattern until you get to the 10th fret for the D chord or further depending on where you plan to end it.
Hope this helps.

Doesn't this lick start on the 2nd string, ie., pick the 2nd string 3rd fret slide on the 2nd string to the 4th fret, then strike the 4th string on the 4th fret, pick the 2nd string on the 4th fret and slide to the 2nd string on the 5th fret, then strike the 4th string on the 5th fret, etc. . . .
