I think he tuned "equal torment" when he should'a tuned "just incarceration". Fantastic tone, though. Like they say, you can recognize an Emmons a mile away.  |

Let's give them high marks for just plain guts. Or, if you want to meet half way, just plain nuts. I was a Stones fan right before I turned on the Haggard and Buck. If they'd followed Waylon's footsteps a bit closer, I'd still be a fan, especially with an Emmons on the gig.

I have to agree; give the guy ten stars for absolute courage. When a hard rocker can sit down to a pedal steel and hammer out recognizable chords, he has to be doing something right.
I wonder how much learning or practice time he had on that Emmons? |

WOW !! Giving Ron Wood a steel guitar is kinda like giving a scare crow a machine gun - WHY? I would like to have that old Emmons he's playing though. I started out with a black one just like it (Sticker instead of emblem) but let it get away from me. We do some foolish things when we're young.  |

Yeah, that's one of the things that worries me about this kinda' stuff. The strange part is that - it seems to me, anyway - that an awful lot of rockers think this is what country music is about. I don't understand it, but I think it's true. |

I don't need to watch it to maintain my status as "A Contender"..
