Agree completely with Randy, tough to get decent clean tones.
Price is more than I have seen them get recently, though they were $1000-1200 new.

I have one. You can get ok tone from it. The problem is if you use your volume pedal up front, you are varying the input signal to you a/d converter. You are not driving the amp in the same way as you would an analog amp. You might try using the expression pedal set up to work as a volume pedal to see if that works better.
If you don't want to lug around a lot of effects these are pretty good guitar amps. My one complaint is, IMHO, that you lose some of the guitars individual characteristics from the digital processing. I got a silver faced Quad reverb that I play steel through and am much happier with it than the Cyber Twin. Look for a silverface Twin, Showman, Quad, or Super Six reverb. They are all the same chasis with different speaker configurations. Any one would be a good steel amp. Just hook it up to your speaker of choice. _________________ ShoBud Pro 1, 75 Tele, 85 Yamaha SA 2000, Fender Cybertwin, |
