Roy,
I'll be on the 7AM flight out of Tampa on Friday and will meet Jack at the St.Louis airport around noon time.
We'll tell you all about it when we see you at the September 13th FSGC Anniversary Show.

Hey, Don -- I heard you and Jack being interviewed at the ISGC. Why did you let Jack do all the talkin'? |

Hi Roy,
They only had one mike set up at the time.
We were only going to drop off the Flyer and have the DJ announce the Club over the radio, but he sat us down and Jack happened to be in front of the mike.
They asked me towards the end if I wanted a mike but the interview was just about over so I declined. Jack had said all that was needed to say anyway.

Don and Jack:
As one of the newer members of the Club, I want to express my sincere appreciation for the two of you giving the Club exposure at the convention and for doing the live interview on Steel Radio. We have a great Club with a lot of wonderful players and we need to let the rest of the steel guitar world know about it. |

Jack and Don truthfully were representing the Florida Club with total class. I enjoyed running into them the three days. They deserve a great deal of praise for their hard work and efforts on behalf of the club. I see it growing into one of the premire Steel associations around. Hats off to these two for super great efforts.

I am going to try to make it. I'm not a pedal player, but I love the instrument. I live in Miami where pedal steel players are as rare as monster truck rallys in Paris and I know I've looked (for the steel players, not monster truck rallys in Paris). I've been doing my best cutting and pasting samples of steel guitar licks into my music but it's no substitution for the real thing!
You don't need singers do you? I also have a few pieces of gear if it would help...

Many of our steelers have played with major artists and some have recorded with them.
Over all it's a great bunch of guys with an amazing amount of talent.
We all get together for the fun of creating music and trading steel guitar stories.
See you all on Saturday.

Don: What's the chance of my plugging into your Nash 1000 for the show -- to keep this old man from having to lug his own down there? |

Yes you can.
