Since I was off from work today, I happened to tune into Live with Regis and Kelly just in time to see them intro Randy Travis. Steve Hinson got a lot of time on TV. Nice playing, as usual, and he got both his hands and face on TV - along with close ups of his Show Pro. The director actually new where the sound of the steel was coming from too - a refreshing change of pace.

It would be cool if Steve would come out with an instrumental album.

Steve is a long time member of Randy's band, and yes, he's from Nashville.

I just bought tickets to see the Randy Travis show at the Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City, FL in early March. Should be a great show as usual. This will make 3 times for us seeing the show at that venue.
