Everybody, try this amp with an open mind, and you will love it!
I have hired a brace of great electronic engineers to try to improve it with some kind of mod, 22 were tried, none helped at all, just made it different, different isn't good here, leave it alone and play and love it. Forget mods on this amp! It's already at the top!
The only thing we can do to help is to do the Black Widow trick to it. Peavey hit the nail on the head with this one. |

You're right Bobbe. This is a great little amp for steel guitar.
Ron, your Derby would sound good through this amp Keep in mind that this amp is for "home playing", rehersals, or small gigs. It's only 80 watts, but some players are using it for gigs and having good results. It does have a preamp out (1/4" mono output) so you could patch into another amp and run both amps for gigs. It also has a Line Out XLR jack for patching into a board or a snake for big shows. Or you could just mic it for big shows.
For more info on the Peavey Nashville 112 click here You can download the owners manual from that site, showing front and rear panels, inputs, outputs, specs, etc.
