Sho Bud S10 3 and 4. looks like someone has changed the knee levers and added some pulls, the guitar plays easy and smooth as butter, it has great sus. and tone. sounds like a sho bud.would like to get some idea what would be a good price to ask for it. THANX

Probably $1,500-$2,000, depending on condition.

yes...nice steel. but let's reset the inflation bubble as with houses and everything else.

$1200-$1400

it's a single neck!

But, it looks like some guy named Doug wrote all over the underside. How rude..... Wink

Out of curiosity, a PSG case should bear some value as well. Am I correct here? Whats worth more: a good Anvil Case or the original case... assuming both are in equal condition. FYI: All my PSG have great cases that I purchased after I bought the PSG. If I were to sell them, would that matter?

Well, an old Bud S-10 3+3 sold here just last week: http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=147565

There are some distinctions between the different years and undercarriages, so you shouldn't necessarily take that too literally. But the numbers Donny and Chris threw out should give you a rough idea of the range.

One thing - it's generally harder to raise the price if you set it too low than to lower the price if you set it too high. But too-high asking prices can put off potential buyers also.

In today's market, what the guitar is "worth" and what you can get for it are two different things.
I'd hate to try and sell a guitar for what it's "worth" today. Sad

When did Sho-Bud Make bellcranks, and the square shafts like that? They look 100% better than the ones on my LDG.
