Roy, what type of steel did you use to record your samples. It sounds as though it was fry pan or a 6 string Hawaiian style laptop?

Would this course work with an eight string?

Hi Les,

Actually, the guitar is a Gibson Consolette D8.
Top Neck...
Tuned high to low: E--C--A--G--E--C--A--G.
I only used the first six strings however.

This looks great--is this the same tuning (minus the 2 lowest strings) as used in the original recordings? I'm currently in a different C6, with G on top...

Lee, thank you! Glad you enjoy the Course.

Mike, Don's original tuning was high to low
G#--E--C#--B--G#--E

Tuning on my Course high to low:
E--C--A--G--E--C

THE intervals are exactly the same so the
sounds are the same but played at a higher fret.

The Course will work for your C6th with the high G.
You just read the tab as strings 2--3--4--5--6--7.

Dean email me and I will give you the payment
method. roythomson@eastlink.ca

Thanks for the interest everyone.

Roy
