News Flash! Borrowed Money in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards is open again! Thanks to Jeff Evans for passing this gig along to me, I will be playing there with Ed Burleson tonight from 9-2.
If you can tear yourself away from listening to the Convention, or are just tired of listening to great steel guitar music, come on out and have a few cold ones. I'd like to see you there. |

Isn't that the place that used to be called ,The Hitching Post or Old Top Rail years ago. If I'm not mistaken, that's one of the places that I used to play at back in the early 60's!? |

Not sure about the Hitching Post, but the Top Rail is still going strong in Dallas. Borrowed Money used to be the Big River, but I don't remember what it was before that. |

Jim, is Borrowed Money out on Highway 114? If so then it's the same place where the Hitching Past used to be. |

Tony, you're thinking Dallas - Borrowed Money is in the Fort Worth Stockyards, at the corner of West Exchange and Ellis.
BTW, the crowd was rather small due to no advertising, but we had a great time. And my record is still intact, no pickers showed up! |
