What a classic Classy Look.....beautiful Work.
Can't wait to here it my brother...when will the debut be on the Opry???

| Jeff Surratt knows how to build steel guitars that sound and look great. Thats a classic sounding/looking steel. Jeff is a master builder and along with his lovely wife Gloria they run a top shelf custom build shop. Good luck with that one Tommy, just beautiful. |

Tommy ,I'd sure like to know your opinion of the Sho Bud pickup compared to the L710's in the Show Pro. BTW I've got my DVR set to record the GOO and Crook and Chase every Sat. night so I can hear you play . I can fast forward through all the stuff I don't want to listen to, and I can rewind and try to steal a few licks  I sure do love my new Show Pro.

I was in the shop the other day and saw it in person.
The pictures don't do it justice. It looks like a Steinway Grand piano finish. This is one beautiful guitar.
You gotta see and play Jeff's guitars. Incredible. |

Not mica, some kind of shiny paint I think. .
Ronald,
I use the hum-cancelling pickups in the studio of course. I like the single coils for the growl when playing live. I actually have not heard my new horn yet. Hopefully tomorrow .

| Hard to tell from the pics, but it looks like Tommy's name on there. Now that's personal attention. The only time I've heard the blue one was on "Buttermilk John". That playing and tone brought a tear to my eye. I'm sure this one will sound just as great in those talented hands. |

Tommy, this is a gorgeous looking guitar but I still love the blue one you are using on " Crook and Chase Show". These Sho-Pros are a great sounding guitar, especially when you are playing them..Bernie

Tommy would you mine hooking them up side by side and prove that black steels sound better. I think it has to do with the thickness of the black lacquer compared to the other colors.

| Hey guys, these SD10's and S10WB's are the way to go. IMHO...they are much more comfortable playing than a D-10. I still have a D-10 but I like my S10WB much better. For people that have to have both C6th and E9th, get two steels and you will never have to roll up your shirt sleeves again. Show Pro makes a beautiful Steel |

I took delivery of my third Show Pro today. The guitars are tonally everything I've been looking for forever...and no, I'm not a paid endorser, although I feel I deserve it . Wishful thinking.
The guitars have all been consistant in tone, beauty and ease of playing. Show Pro steel guitars have a very seductive mystique about them. Each one is a custom work of art and reminds me why I chose the pedal steel. I also must admit, eventhough every brand of guitar I've played the past few years have been excellent quality instruments, the Show Pro suits me and the way I play to a tee.
A word about the builder, Jeff Surratt. Jeff is one of the most diligent, dedicated and sweet spirited persons. His love and passion of steel guitar and steel guitar players is genuine and unwaivering. He would be a success in any venture he chooses. While I was at the factory, he answered every call and still managed to help me tweak my guitar to perfection, and I'm a picky dude, so I've heard. No designated phone lines for nonsense conversations. One telephone line for whatever the caller's need.
