I have a confirmed double non-smoking room reservation at the Millennium Hotel for Aug. 29th and Aug. 30th. Unfortunately something has come up and I can’t go. Instead of just canceling it, I am auctioning off my reservation for the room. The highest bidder will get my confirmation number and the entire winning bid will go to b0b & the Steel Guitar Forum. All bids should be made here on the forum. The highest bid posted by 6:00 P.M. SGFT (Steel Guitar Forum Time) Wed. Aug. 27th will be the winner.

You might want to make sure that reservation is transferable. I'll bet it's not. When the lucky winner shows up and isn't you there will probably be a problem. Airline tix are the same way....

I checked with the Millennium reservation desk and they said all I have to do is add his name to the reservation,ie. as if we were sharing the room.

Ed, does the winning bid include the payment for the room or just the opportunity to buy it from the hotel? In other words are you auctioning off a paid for room or will the winner still have to pay the hotel for the room after he pays you or b0b?

The winning bid does not include the cost of the room....just the reservation.
The room is $81.00/night and is a double.
Ed
PS.....winning bid goes to b0b.
