How many of you have had the guitar player to tell you that your steel and amp are electrocuting them?
I had this happen a few weeks back, and it was the first time in the almost 60 years that I have been playing. My wife says he had rocks instead of brains. |

Maybe it was a compliment.

Hey Tony,
He could have meant your playing was so far above his ability of playing, (as compared). Therefore, it well could have been a great compliment to you.
On the other hand, had I never heard you play, I may have (otherwise) taken, he meant it quite differently.
Wow! Where does time go to anymore. Blink an eye and it seems as though months have gone by.
Congratulations on the nearly 60 years! |

Yep, been there. Apparently, one of you has an amp without a 3-prong plug, or the receptacle isn't properly grounded. Get that attended to, as it has been known to kill people. (Of course, if he plays too loud, and walks all over your playing, and is generally obnoxious... )

Hi Don. thanks. My amp does have the three way plug, I don't know what his had, anyway I changed the pelarity and that didn't help. So it had t be on his end. The club owner told me that everyone has the sametrouble wit him, so now it's him and bass player and a drum machine. Oh well, nothing last forever. |

Ah, yes, the Dirty Harry syndrome, where each partner gets the whack, and the renegade rolls on!
Ship's pool here: how long will the bass player last? |
