I just thought I'd put a plug in for Brad Sarno and his NEW product, the Freeloader. I got mine last week, Apparently one of the last of the first batch. Let me say that this is a great little unit. I use it with an Alembic F2B tube pre amp and it gives it a really nice clean sound on the bass strings without making the highs sound harsh or wirey. I used a black box for a good while and while the tube circuit is very sweet and great with a solid state amp and if you're using a solid state amp I would recomend the Black Box, this little Freeloader is the way to go if you're using a tube amp such as a Twin or something or using a tube pre amp like me. Another plus is that it's small and don't take up much room in your stool.
My hat's off again to you Brad. _________________ Zumsteel steel guitars, Telonics and Peavey amplifiers, GHS strings. |

I use solid state amps and it certainly warms up and fattens the sound. Very well built unit. |

I'm running mine in front of a Walker SS amplifier, and it does just what I need, allows subtle changes to tone and response from tune to tune. Very nice unit. |
