Any year Franklin is a "wanted" guitar. Other than being made later the mechanics are exactly the same. I have a late 81 model and there is no wear at all in the mechanics.
But as Nick has noted, there are many that are looking for a Franklin and will even pay what I consider very high prices for them. |

Nothing wrong with wanting a Franklin, just that it's rare that one comes up for sale. |
