I,ve been seeing this guy play pedal steel on numerous french country t.v. shows like Planete country and also for star Patrick Normand.I assume Jean Guy is from Quebec, i,m not sure.Anyway Jean Guy you,re a treat to watch,you play so naturally both steel and tele. Hope to meet you sometime.

Jean-Guy is one of the busiest musician in Quebec and in the maritime, i would compare him to Paul Franklin for being one of the most use musician in almost all of Country music recorded in Quebec, he plays on almost all Country albums that comes out of Quebec and the maritimes,he's a busy session pedal steel player and when he's not in the studio or backing up somebody he has his own band, i'd say he's one of the best in east Canada if not the best and he's a hot guitar player also. Very Happy

and interestingly enough, he sounded like himself on all the different guitars.

nice to have a comparison like this to show how a fessenden can shine as brightly as any pro steel!
