I am not sure what section this would go in, but I need to get someone to help me record some of my old VHS tapes to DVDs.
Does anyone on the forum do this? |

or you can buy a vhs/dvd player/recorder. Pop your vhs in one side, and record it on dvd on the other side at the same time. Some like it, some don't. Spouse did a great many home movies like this. She used a portable television and sat it up near her pc so she could whatever it is that she does on her pc while transferring the movies. It had to be done in real time, meaning however long the vhs was, that is how long the transfer takes. She bought her unit at Christmas 2-3 yrs ago for $150 new at K-Mart. They may be more or less now. (she tells me it wasn't hard to do at all after she got the 1st one done, lol) Hope this helps.
