It shouldn't be long now...Williams natural birdseye SD-10 4 & 5, wood neck, abalone inlay, currently under construction by Bill Rudolph. Isn't she gorgeous?

Man, does it sound beautiful. If you're considering a new guitar, do yourself a favor and put the Williams Guitar Co. on your short list. You won't be sorry. _________________ Clinesmith consoles D-8/6 5 pedal, D-8 3 pedal & A25 Frypan, Pettingill Teardrop, & P8 Deluxe.

I applaud your use of real abalone. I see these companies that are using fake perloid plastic trim on their wood body lacquer guitars...not classy at all!!
REAL mother of pearl/abalone...nice touch! |

Thanks for all the nice comments, fella's. I'm on the edge of my seat, can't wait. Hi Fred, your guitar is what I modeled it after. Now, if I can just make it sound as good as yours. Might as well dream big, right? (my wife didn't know I was shoppin' either, I'm in big trouble...) but it's worth it. _________________ Clinesmith consoles D-8/6 5 pedal, D-8 3 pedal & A25 Frypan, Pettingill Teardrop, & P8 Deluxe. |

I have one big complaint about the guitars of Bill & Tim Rudolph. Too many times I see photos of new ones listed here, it makes me crave more like them. Yours would be one of those, Rick. Great looking & playing guitar. steve t |

Top floor, please. Thanks Brad, Steve and Larry, I spent a lot of time drooling over Williams guitar photos, before I made up my mind. Yours are some of them. Some others belonged to Larry Scott and Dick Wood. They're all beautiful guitars. Can't wait, shipping should be December 2
(oh boy) I shouldn't have started a list, I know I'll leave some out. _________________ Clinesmith consoles D-8/6 5 pedal, D-8 3 pedal & A25 Frypan, Pettingill Teardrop, & P8 Deluxe. |

Thanks for the nice comments, everybody! Bill Rudolph says it ships out on Tuesday 12/2. I'll post some better photos when it arrives. What a Christmas this is gonna be. Hey Rick, I just viewed the photos of your new Williams 600 series steel...Rick you got a killer steel..they don't make them nicer or better than yours. You are going to love that great changer...no pins that break to worry about and it bends the strings less at the changer so little or no string breakage problems....I have mine for a year and a half and have not broken any strings. Bill Rudolph has a patent on that changer and his idea was a stroke of genius...Rick, I wish you the best..you can go to sleep tonight knowing you got the best. |

Upon closer examination, I think there is a thin layer of Mother of Pearl bordering the abalone top and bottom. Nice touch that I hadn't seen before posting the photos. Wow, the attention to detail is unbelievable on this guitar. I'm tickled to death with it. Thanks for all the great comments. Bill & Tim Rudolph deserve all the credit. _________________ Clinesmith consoles D-8/6 5 pedal, D-8 3 pedal & A25 Frypan, Pettingill Teardrop, & P8 Deluxe. |

Another masterpiece by Bill.
I would love to have a new SD10 but lately I've been fixing things up around Wood Manor so I don't got no money. |

Wow guys, thanks a bunch. Now if I could only make it do, what it's capable of doing. I really appreciate ALL your comments & compliments. That Williams Guitar Co. is top notch in my book, I feel very fortunate. _________________ Clinesmith consoles D-8/6 5 pedal, D-8 3 pedal & A25 Frypan, Pettingill Teardrop, & P8 Deluxe. |

The inlays are simply stunning and that changer is very, very clever. You have invested your money wisely. That is one glorious steel guitar! _________________ The steel guitar is a hard mistress. She will obsess you, bemuse and bewitch you. She will dash your hopes on what seems to be whim, only to tease you into renewing the relationship once more so she can do it to you all over again...and yet, if you somehow manage to touch her in that certain magic way, she will yield up a sound which has so much soul, raw emotion and heartfelt depth to it that she will pierce you to the very core of your being. |
