Now that I have your attention ladies and gentlemen.
I want to let you know that I'm producing a c.d. project on a fellow Forum member. It will be ready for sale by this player about the end of July.
The list of tunes are impressive and I've selected some great musicians to back the steel up.
I'm keeping you all in suspense for now as to who this player is but we've known each other almost 20 years.
When this c.d. becomes available you'll want one.
More later.

The tracks will be cut tommorrow[6/11]. And the steel player will be in in a few weeks to cut his parts. I'm tellin' y'all this is gonna be a good c.d.
Do I have any guesses who the player is?

b0b,

It's up to the player on that not me. I'm just producing this one not playing. But I'm sure he has seen your request.

Would be better if he played some scratch tracks live, so the rhythm section could feed off him, even if he plays it better later IMHO.

Hey Mike, Was this "mystery steeler" at the Mt. City show? Does he have a nickname that consists of only three letters? Has he been seen playin'a black Mullen D-10?

David, Not necessarily. Sometimes that can hold a session up. And also the rough track I'm sending him will give him something to practice to for the next month before he gets here to record his parts. Besides, He trusts me.
Steve, Could be. LOL.

Nick,
No we won't be there. Mike has never been invited to play at St. Louis and unfortunately we can't justify the trip if he isn't playing. Maybe one of these days. We will be at the Mobile show next month. Are you guys going? We're really looking forward to it. Hope to see you both soon.

O.K. the mystery player is none other than Boo Miller.
When this c.d. will be ready by the end of July you'll need to get one.
