Adhesive for metal trim on an Emmons

Anyone know what adhesive is used to fasten the aluminum trim to an Emmons P/P guitar?

Contact cement.
Clean the strip and the channel left open on the front apron with lacquer thinner and allow both to dry. Apply the cement to both surfaces and wait until they're dry. Be sure you have the strip where you want it when you put it down because there's no moving it once it touches the wood.
