Mike
Thanks for the bump.

This month we will draw numbers for the playing order so as to change things around a bit.
So where you set up won't be your playing order.

Big jam last night. We had 15 steels (and many more steelers) at the monthly jam.

Nice to see Lee Holloway out and about too after his recent medical problems.

Thank you to everyone that attends and supports the club. Without the support of the Steeler's, backup band musicians and even the audience there wouldn't be any Steel Guitar club.

And a special thanks to Don Sulesky for keeping the jam going and documenting it.

Wow is what I say.
What a big night jam we had.
Wall to wall people in the audiance and a full compliment of 15 players.
Anymore and they would have had to play outside the hall.
We even had 4 bass players, 3 drummers and our trooper Tom Murphy hung in there and played rhythm the whole evening for us.
Thanks Tom.
I would say that the snowbirds are back in our area of Florida.
Let's do it again next month.
Jack, thanks for the mention.
I surely had my hands full last night with the MC part and playing my set.

It is good to see Fred t and wife back and doing well, his playing is still in ???? could be it's just his Emmoms, lol nice going fred. Larry's new G2 sounds good, he built it his self, I told him to play it upside down it is so purty underneith. Lou had trouble with the MSA and played Jacks Zum. and then sang his Lots Of Love in San in Tone LOL, love u Lou.Lee played his MSA MIL. sounds just like his FUL? you know Eddie's guitar.Jack d di his Glasses song again,Mat set next to me and tried to retun e my willismd but the keyless saved the day he did not have a Allen WR. Jim Price and the zum sounded good as usually. Jack S. was at his best last nite with the singer that is when he plays his best. Bobby sounded good on his GFI. Larry play the Willy U12 very well. There was a 6 string guy at the other end of the hall one day I will get close enought to hear him, Makes me want to bring mine, (it's lighter) and play it instead. Sitting room only, if the guys that stand around and talk wanted to sit there were not enough chairs. Jacks wife is making some nice things with her sewing machine,lOGOS, AND NAMES,AND STEEWL GUITARS on towels, she did one for me and it reaches the floor, she wanted to cut it of I said no way. There was a shirt there I tried to buy it, almost lost my life, on display owned by the steeler right behind me. Active crowd good playing and a fine time had by all. I forgot Don, He wasa his usual self.
Seems all the club is interested in seeing my new Weenick, it will be ready by next club meeting, went by Mike's house it is eye watering, so purty, nuf said.

Lou Parsons
signing off for the night. I know there is more news but my fingers are tired and someone else will fill u in I am sure. hello don.

Ernie
That was Bernie Whittle on the non pedal 6 string.
I also backed him up on his "Last Glass of Wine" song he wrote.

Gee, I really don't know how to take that comment.
"Don was his usual self. Laughing Razz

All I know is I had my hands full keeping all you 15 guys in line and then get up and try to play two songs.
Talk about being tiring and confused. Whoa!

You did a fine job all around, Don. All the pickers were great and it was a real hoot Laughing I hope that by the next meeting I'll be free of the vacuum pump Rolling Eyes It is cumbersome and distracting, but is doing the job of healing me. Also, not being able to carry my gear bothers me, but with dear friends like Frenchie and others, I'm still able to play.
Looking forward to next month Very Happy

I was there in the audience. I had a good time. Great playing as usual. Lots and lots of pickers. I met a guy that came all the way up from Ft. Myers. One of these days I'm going to bring my rig and pick - when I feel I'm capable. Until then, I'll have a great time watching and listening.

How would Ernie know for sure he takes naps at his steel while others are playing. Laughing Laughing Laughing
Your playing was super as usual even with your medical problem. I enjoy every note you pick.
There's several songs that Ernie plays that i'd like to do but I stay away from them so he'll have something to play. Oh Well Very Happy

We all love you, Pal.
It wouldn't be the same without you there.
Yes, the round robins are fun when we have the time to fit them in.
