I just got a 15/16" x 12 string BJS bar and it is great! Thanks again to Bill Stroud for making a great product.
I've been using a 1" x 10 string BJS bar since the early '90s. When I first got it I could finally understand why a violin player will pay thousands of dollars for a bow; the sound and feel were such an improvement over the solid stainless 7/8" bar I was using previously. |

I like 4 inch bars 'cause I have rather large hands and long fingers. They are more comfortable for me. Bill wasn't making any 4 inch bars until I mentioned it on here. He made one ( actually 2 I think) soon after and sent it to me. I seem to remember him mentioning that someone else wanted one too. It is just what I wanted. Bill is a great guy. |

4 inches long or in diameter??? I assume you mean length.

Haven't measured the dimensions of mine, I have even forgotten its size ...
Nevertheless, despite being a beginner I can recommend a BJS bar. Even to me it feels better than the Dunlop bar that came along with the PSG when I bought it from someone who never really got to learn playing it. |

I've had my BJS 15/16 10st bar for nearly 2 years. It's been dropped, rolled, thrown, lost, found and even soaked in whiskey. It still looks as new and doesn't even have a single nick on it. BJS Bars are TUFF!!!

Thanks to all for the kind words, and for using the BJS Bars, Keith I knew it was just a matter of time before you would get one. Thanks to all the UK friends that uses the bar, and to all of the other countries also.
If you ever need anything just let me know.
